Last week someone asked us ‘Did you read in the newspaper that it will take 16 years before the roads on Bonaire are back in order ?!’ And yes,. we too were quite surprised about that ‘news’. If all companies on Bonaire work together in side-by-side assignments, it can certainly be rolled out faster.
If the main roads are carried out in asphalt by company [A], company [B] can use the street work in vowels to focus on the adjoining streets and the accommodation areas for the tourist. This way the work can be done twice as fast!
At Bona Bista, for example, we are now processing a modern 6-centimeter-thick NEN-certified paving for all traffic of 3,850 m2 and 800 m2 of retaining tape and a substrate of 400 m3 of sand in two months. And of course as we are used to with 1,500 m2 per week, so nice and ready on time!
